So Chris and I had been pescotarians for a long time, but in the last several months had started eating chicken and turkey again. Due to a bunch of circumstances (new birth control, testosterone injections, stress eating), I'd gained about 15 lbs since the wedding.
So, we decided several weeks ago to try going vegan as a lifestyle/diet change. We finally started this weekend, and it's amazing how much better we both feel already. We're not being strict about it (meaning if something's made in a plant where milk products are made we'll still eat it), but here's hoping.
We've also started using our treadmill and elliptical machines, so cross your fingers for me!
